Geneva Watch Days 2026: The Top 10 Watches

September 3, 2026·News·WPA Staff Member

Geneva Watch Days has grown from a pandemic-era stopgap into one of the busiest dates on the watch calendar — a downtown-Geneva fair, running 2–6 September this year, where 71 brands took over the Rotonde du Mont-Blanc, the Beau-Rivage and the boutiques of the Rue du Rhone. The 2026 edition leaned hard into two ideas: shaped, thin cases with serious finishing, and complications that solve a real problem rather than just filling a dial. These are the ten pieces that stayed with us.

1. Bulgari Octo Finissimo Dual Time × Vianney Halter

Bulgari Octo Finissimo Dual Time x Vianney Halter in titanium and rose gold

The first Octo Finissimo co-signed with an independent watchmaker, and the pairing lands the moment you see it. Vianney Halter redraws the dial in the language of his 1998 Antiqua: four raised porthole sub-displays for local time, second time zone, date and day/night, topped with his sculpted blue hands. The case stays pure Octo Finissimo at 40.5mm and 9.70mm thick, running the new self-winding BVF 200 with a 60-hour reserve. Titanium is limited to 30 pieces at $80,000 (CHF 70,000); rose gold to 15 pieces at $123,000 (CHF 108,000).

2. Oris ProPilot X Gonzo Edition

Oris ProPilot X Gonzo Edition with skeletonised rainbow dial

Oris’s third Muppets watch, after Kermit and Miss Piggy, and easily the most technical of the three. Tiny marks are laser-etched along the 1.8-metre mainspring so that, fully wound, they resolve into Gonzo’s face — then scatter again as the 10-day reserve runs down, tracked by a chili-pepper-shaped hand. It sits in a 44mm multi-piece titanium case and bracelet around the skeletonised hand-wound Calibre 115. CHF 8,500 / USD 10,500.

3. H. Moser & Cie. Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine

H. Moser Streamliner Tourbillon Skeleton Ceramic Alpine with blue accents

The Streamliner goes fully ceramic — a 40mm, 12.8mm-thick anthracite-grey case around the completely skeletonised HMC 814 automatic, with a one-minute flying tourbillon at six and Moser’s in-house double hairspring. Blue-finished bridges and an integrated blue Alcantara strap mark the latest chapter of the brand’s Alpine F1 partnership. Minimum 72-hour reserve; limited to 100 pieces at CHF 79,000.

4. Zenith Chronomaster Solo Sport

Zenith Chronomaster Solo Sport with textured black dial on bracelet

The first Chronomaster to arrive without a chronograph. Zenith drops the 5Hz El Primero 3620 — time, and date on all but one version — into a 40mm steel sports case with a unidirectional ceramic bezel and 200m water resistance. The ceramic dial carries a repeating 45-degree “Z” pattern that nods to the movement’s high beat rate. From CHF 8,900 (no-date) / CHF 9,900.

5. Breitling Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 – Tribute to Miles Davis

Breitling Navitimer B09 Chronograph 41 Tribute to Miles Davis

A faithful reissue of the Navitimer the jazz legend wore, in 41mm steel with a reverse-panda dial, cream vintage-style lume and the old twin-jet logo. Inside is the hand-wound, column-wheel Caliber B09 — currently the only 41mm, manually wound Navitimer in the line. Limited to 500 pieces: USD 8,900 on strap, USD 9,600 on the Air Racer bracelet.

6. De Bethune DB25 Digitale

De Bethune DB25 Digitale with blued titanium dial and jumping hours

Jumping hours at twelve and a rotating minute display at six, read through apertures on a dial of 82 mostly blued-titanium components finished with De Bethune’s random guilloche — a texture that now spills onto the movement. A polished night sky frames the brand’s spherical moon, two hemispheres in palladium and flame-blued steel, accurate to a lunar day in 1,112 years. The third-generation DB2144 hand-wound movement gives a five-day reserve; 42mm polished Grade 5 titanium, price on request.

7. Urwerk UR-150 “Golden Scorpion”

Urwerk UR-150 Golden Scorpion in 2N yellow gold

Urwerk’s wandering-hours satellites in a case of 2N yellow gold (42.5 × 51.0 × 14.8mm, titanium back). Three hour cubes cross a flying carousel while a retrograde minute hand sweeps a 240-degree arc, then snaps back to zero in about a hundredth of a second as the next satellite arrives. The automatic UR-50.01 with its twin-turbine winding regulator gives a 43-hour reserve. Limited to 25 pieces at CHF 105,000.

8. Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty Tourbillon

Girard-Perregaux Laureato Fifty Tourbillon with blue Grand Feu enamel dial

A 39mm, roughly 10mm-thin Laureato marking the model’s 50th year. The new automatic GP8410 pairs an arrow-shaped platinum-and-pink-gold micro-rotor with a lyre-shaped tourbillon cage, under a blue Grand Feu enamel dial or a solid-gold alternative, with a 72-hour reserve. From CHF 85,000 (gold) / CHF 89,000 (enamel).

9. Gerald Genta Geneva Minute Repeater Golden Obsidian

Gerald Genta Geneva Minute Repeater Golden Obsidian with golden-brown obsidian dial

A cushion-shaped 40mm 3N yellow-gold case, just 9.6mm thick, tuned for acoustics by watchmaker Matthieu Hegi, with a dial cut from a slab of golden-brown obsidian — volcanic glass whose warm tone comes from micro gas bubbles in the stone. The hand-wound calibre GG-022 beats at 3Hz with an 80-hour reserve. It follows the 2025 Black Onyx edition; price on request.

10. Ming 57.05 Comet

Ming 57.05 Comet world-timer with blue dial and daylight-saving bezel

Ming’s most accessible world-timer yet, and the one with the cleverest idea. The 40mm steel case carries a patent-pending fix for daylight saving: cities that observe DST sit on a movable outer bezel, the rest stay fixed on the inner ring, so a single click keeps the whole map honest. Sellita-based calibre 330.M2, 50-hour reserve. Limited to 200 pieces, from CHF 6,950 (CHF 7,950 on the titanium bracelet).

The takeaway

If there was a theme in Geneva this year, it was restraint used well — thin cases, shaped cases, and complications with a point of view. The independents (Ming, De Bethune, Urwerk) pushed the ideas, while the bigger names (Bulgari, Zenith, Girard-Perregaux) showed how much room is still left in their core collections.
