Richard Mille Opens Its First Spanish Boutique in Madrid

Richard Mille has officially opened its first boutique in Spain. The new flagship sits at 10 José Ortega y Gasset, on the corner of Calle Claudio Coello in Madrid’s Barrio de Salamanca, the heart of the city’s “Golden Mile” of luxury retail. Balenciaga, Versace and Hermès are all nearby.

The store is the brand’s 13th boutique in Europe and 42nd worldwide. It is also one of its most ambitious: Spanish press has described it as the largest Richard Mille store in Europe.

From Tiffany & Co. to Richard Mille

Richard Mille bought the corner unit, formerly home to Tiffany & Co., in July 2025. Renovation work continued into 2026. The opening confirms that Madrid is becoming a serious destination for haute horlogerie, joining a wave of recent arrivals on and around Ortega y Gasset.

440 square metres over two levels

The boutique spans more than 440 sqm across two floors. The upper floor holds two lounges that showcase some of the rarest Richard Mille creations, plus a sales area and an open watchmaker’s workshop. Visitors can watch the complexity of RM movements up close, and owners can get quick diagnostics and repairs on site.

A lower floor built for hospitality

Downstairs, the focus shifts from retail to hosting. The lower level has a dining area, a wine cellar and two further lounges, which the brand describes as a more intimate setting for “shared moments and conviviality.” Serious clients can expect to spend an evening here, not just an appointment.

Richard Mille’s new architectural standard

Madrid is one of the first stores built to Richard Mille’s new architectural standards. Signature details include:

  • A bespoke Haberdashery pendant light at the entrance
  • A circular glass lift accented with bronze
  • Ecoclay walls with bronze skirting and handrails
  • A sweeping curved staircase connecting the two levels

Why it matters

Until now, Spanish collectors had to travel to Paris, Geneva or London for a full Richard Mille boutique experience. A flagship this size, with its own workshop, puts Madrid firmly on the brand’s map, and it signals how much weight the Spanish market now carries in the high-end watch world.
