Last night in Los Angeles, the basketball superstar LeBron James made history by becoming the NBA’s all-time leading scorer after draining a step-back jumper. The moment was electric, with everything coming to a standstill as he was met by his family on the court and showered with MVP chants from the crowd. The former record-holder, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, also joined him at center court for a symbolic passing of the torch.
